Trust Mechanisms, Cultural Difference and Poverty Alleviation

In her paper Trust Mechanisms, Cultural Differences and Poverty Alleviation Lihua Guo explores how Grameen Bank, which originated in Bangladesh, can effectively reduce regional poverty. The basic means based on a trust mechanism include the provision of loans only to women, five-person teams, a system of conference centers, personal financial management and weekly repayment with golden membership awards. Although the Grameen mode presents different practice effects around the world due to cultural differences, the fundamental cause for success is the respect showed to human beings by the model, and a tailored program that includes rather than excludes. The Grameen model has unique advantages in promoting poverty alleviation and reduction in Asian countries, which is of great significance for promoting Asian integration

Evaluation of Multi-indicator And Multi-organ Medical Image Segmentation Models

In recent years, "U-shaped" neural networks featuring encoder and decoder structures have gained popularity in the field of medical image segmentation. Various variants of this model have been developed. Nevertheless, the evaluation of these models has received less attention compared to model development. In response, we propose a comprehensive method for evaluating medical image segmentation models for multi-indicator and multi-organ (named MIMO). MIMO allows models to generate independent thresholds which are then combined with multi-indicator evaluation and confidence estimation to screen and measure each organ. As a result, MIMO offers detailed information on the segmentation of each organ in each sample, thereby aiding developers in analyzing and improving the model. Additionally, MIMO can produce concise usability and comprehensiveness scores for different models. Models with higher scores are deemed to be excellent models, which is convenient for clinical evaluation. Our research tests eight different medical image segmentation models on two abdominal multi-organ datasets and evaluates them from four perspectives: correctness, confidence estimation, Usable Region and MIMO. Furthermore, robustness experiments are tested. Experimental results demonstrate that MIMO offers novel insights into multi-indicator and multi-organ medical image evaluation and provides a specific and concise measure for the usability and comprehensiveness of the model. On the Polysemy of the Basic Vocabulary in the Shang Dynasty

It is widely believed that the Shang Dynasty vocabulary system is relatively simple, and most words are monosemous. In other words, one word has only one meaning. In fact, in the category of basic vocabulary of the system, it is exactly the opposite. There are 291 basic vocabularies in our statistics, 51% of them are polysemous. And there are 47 polysemous words which have three or more meanings, accounting for 31.3% of all polysemous words. The connections among the extended meanings are very complex. It is not as simple as what it is thought. Both the extended and original meanings have their own special rules

Summarize Publications of Written Bamboo and Silk Books During Last More Than Ten Years

Written bamboo and silk books are the important unearthed literature and have great research value for social science and natural science. These materials’ reorganization is a basic work for a series of research. We should first understand main materials, key materials; especially understand new materials published in recent years because there are a lot of unearthed documents which often are fragmented. This paper is divided into three parts: written bamboo and silk of the Chu State in the Warring States, written bamboo of the Qin State and Qin dynasty and written bamboo and silk of two Han dynasties. This paper introduces the important written bamboo and silk published in last more than ten years
